Facing the East or West? Which one’s better?
Another important thing to note about a unit’s good location is whether it is facing West or facing the East. No, this is not due to some Feng Shui practices or some sort, but this is due to the sun’s rays. Obviously, if you want morning sun to strike your skin when you wake up, you’ll choose the unit that’s facing East and the other side if you want the afternoon sun. Of course, you would think that units facing the East are better since it is morning sun. But, take this: you can actually save up on electricity when you’re facing the West since the sun sets at 5:45 pm on the average.
